Great service
Really quick response to my request, really appreciated.
Thanks - a great resource
I've used this site a number of times in the course of my family tree work and it's been invaluable. I've found the gravestones of several ancestors and it's helped so much - often sending me in a sideways direction when the gravestone reveals unknown family members!
Thank you.

Many thanks for the prompt service and the great pix. All done in less than 24 hours. Great service!
Thank you again Charles
I just wanted to say thank you again for assisting with an image of a family burial stone. The first one you helped me with a couple years ago was of my 2nd great grandmother that helped spur me on to seek more about my family in England. I am grateful for services like this that help people see stones that are so far away.
Thank you
Thank you so much for the lovely images of my 4x grandparents headstone. I couldn't believe just how quickly I could access the image once I had entered in the details. Amazing job guys - and once again thank you.

Hello
I wonder if anyone can help me as i would like to add some gravestones to the site?
thanks
Helen
Excellent so far
This has been a real help, but I think there should be links to other sites where photos can be found. For example:
theus.org.uk/category/find-grave
scottishjewishcemeteries.org/search.html
Of course,it would be wonderful if more graves could be photographed. The one I found Sylvia Bellman in had only been 10% photographed.
Thank you so much
I sure appreciate your website and all the work and efforts. It has been very helpful in researching my UK ancestry. It also provides a way to honour those from my past and see where their journey ends. Especially helpful as I live in Canada. Very grateful, Cathy.
Thanks
I want to thanks all the amazing people who collect & index all the gravestones ect and all the staff at the Project for a brilliant service. As a family genealogist I have been able to add images & info on my family trees. Happy new year to all!

Oldest Gravesite at Campbell’s Hill Cemetery
I was wondering if you could help us with knowing who the oldest burial site belongs to in Campbell’s Hill Cemetery?
My sons & I strolled through the cemetery today admiring the beauty of the old world charm of the various gravesites of those who have left this world before us, and we were wanting to know who the first person was who was buried here? We believe it was as early as 1850?
Kind regards

Thank you so much for this very useful and beautifully produced website. It has proved a really valuable help when researching several families both at my local church and for my own genealogical research. In one case recently it solved a mystery regarding the marriage of a couple commemorated on a family memorial in Topcliffe church but who were buried in Stockton; it transpired that when it was erected in 1860 the husband's name had been engraved wrongly on the stone - and since that time no-one had noticed! The marriage details were consequently located easily. I am hoping for further insights as a result of locating the Harrison memorials at South Warnborough. Your work is much appreciated.

Thank you for this website, I have found it very useful in my family research and appreciate the images that I have been able to view. I am wondering however, why the names that are listed as being on a monument, are not visible on the photograph, and am curious as to where this information came from.
Headstones
I would like to thank you for this site. I have been able to find the headstones of so many of my relatives and without this site I would never have them or known where they where buried.
Thank you so much.

Charles just want to say thankyou to you and all the volunteers for a great service. I've all way's thought that genealogy research was more than just adding names and dates. So being able to access photographs from your site when available has been greatly helpful to my own research. I also appreciate on how fast you respond to requests. I wish you, your volunteers and your site all the best in the future.

Gravestone Photograph
Thank You for sending me the info I requested and taking the time to do so. You said you were having trouble with sending attachments in emails. Would it not be easier to just allow the Gravestone Photographs to be viewed automatically when requested? You could only allow those photographs to be shown ONLY through such sites as ancestry.ca/com/uk or other research sites where a person has to join and pay to use. Just a thought. Have A Good Day. And Thanks again.

Edenbridge. St. Peter & St. Paul. Memorial to Mariano Lull, died 20 May 1908, in graveyard.

I have recently requested photographs of two graves in Dean Cemetery, Edinburgh (Zina Elizabeth Blackburn and Florence Marion Money) both of whom were Voluntary Aid Detachment members and died during or soon after WW1. The images were required for a project that I am undertaking with regards to publishing a Register of WW1 serving female casualties. Thank you, particularly, Charles Sale, for your help.

Super Service
Superb Service, Superb Collection, Superb Photographs. Having a neurodegenerative medical condition I am totally wheelchair and housebound getting out to look round our many beautiful cemeteries for myself is no longer feasible. This web page has restored that ability to me and for that I am forever grateful. Please keep up the wonderful work which is rapidly becoming an important tool in the world of Family Research and when you reach that point where it becomes an impossible task, please, please pass it on to someone or some organization who will maintain it and nurture it to even greater heights. It is your wonderful legacy to the word.
Thank you
Excellent resource particularly for those far away.
Very good resource, thank you.
Thank you for providing such a useful resource, especially one that is free.
Error
I've noticed what must be an error in the entry against Joanna Bowden on the monument of Annie Ley image 292, grave 324403 and thought you would like to amend it.
Although the photo is unclear, Joanna Bowden cannot be Annie Ley's wife! It would seem likely a closer examination of the inscription would reveal she was mother of Annie, and / or wife of George Bowden.

Thanks for taking the time to record these gravestones. It has been a great help to me to locate a photo of the grave of William Corner West in Great Malvern. Great work!
Joseph and Isabelle Landau
The photographs of the graves of Joseph and Isabelle Landau (nee Poliakoff) exceeded my expectations. I had not anticipated the Greek columns and statues in a Jewish burial place, but they exhibited the extraordinary wealth of the family. Having read about Isabelle's marriage to Joseph in the diaries of her cousin Zinaida Poliakova, seeing a physical grave site made the stories all the more concrete and real. Your work is invaluable and much appreciated. Since I cannot travel to France at this time to visit the cemetery, this was the next best thing. Thank you so much for sending me these remarkable photographs.
